The Great North Run 2025 might be done and dusted, but we’re still buzzing from the atmosphere (and from seeing our Kingston bean bags at the Finish Line).

While thousands powered across the finish line in South Shields with legs like jelly and hearts full of pride, our bean bags were right there, waiting to catch the tired, the teary, and the just-need-a-sit-down-please crowd.

From Finish Line to Flop Spot

We set up camp by the Brooks stage – prime location for people-watching, cheering, and collapsing in style. Whether runners needed a squishy seat to pull off their trainers, cuddle their medal, or just take a moment to soak it all in, our weather-resistant classics had their backs (literally).

The icon Kingston Outdoor Beanbags were the unsung heroes of recovery and relaxation - lightweight, waterproof, and comfier than any medal ceremony bench you've ever met. The kind of squish that says: "You’ve smashed it. Now chill."

North East Energy? Immaculate.

It wasn’t just about the finish line though... It was about the vibe. And honestly, the North East showed up. The crowds lining the streets? Roaring. The cheers at the finish line? Goosebumps. The hugs, the happy tears, the selfies with strangers? You couldn’t write a better ending than that.

And in the middle of it all? A little patch of bean-filled icon comfort that became the post-run hangout zone. Tired legs, proud faces, and those iconic black and white stripes? Say less.
